This homeowner may have been aiming to create the perfect backyard for entertaining, but her daughter, the talented portrait photographer Lauren Marks is an artist after my own heart. 😍

A major visionary force behind this landscape from the very beginning, Lauren was driven by an idea I can very much relate to: she wanted a veritable outdoor photography studio— a space where she could point her camera in any direction and have a stunning backdrop for her portraits from every angle.

Working with Covington’s landscape designer Cindy Huddleston @covingtonnursery, the Daffron family was able to achieve a fun yet sophisticated backyard with a neutral Mediterranean color pallet and spectacular visual delights at every turn. Both on camera and off, the luxurious resort-like atmosphere of this backyard is sure to make you feel like a star! 🤩
